Moving along with the disc conversion. I'm just not sure if I'm moving forward or backward. I'm using the Chevy 1/2 ton calipers. I'm not that thrilled with the location of the brake line on the caliper. Is there a Chevy caliper that has this fitting in a little better location? The one I've got now looks like it is going to become my steering stop. The hose attaches where the blue plug us.

Its kind of hard for me to see the hose mount. I believe you have the two steel tabs that hold the hose from moving?? I used 1980 blazer hoses and they wrked out good, i believe i flipped them the other way so i could space them a little farther from the tire. I also used a 9180 caliper, or use a 79 wagoneer caliper (same thing) so that might be differnt than yours. what year are you using?? Only problem i had was the rubber hose hitting the tire, but i got some wrap around plastic wire loom and put that over the hose and that will offer much more protection than the rubber.

Hard to tell from the pic, but I think you may have the caliper mount "clocked" one bolt hole too far down. That is, the caliper is too low.

On mine the bottom of the caliper is close to being at the 9/3 o'clock position, which puts the hose fitting at the proper location. YMMV!
