66 Tux axle swap

    I just got through picking out a set of axles for my swap and I need to know if there are any weak links to this set up. The axles are from a 74 cherokee, dana 44 front w/ disc and offset 44 rear with 3.54 gears. I am going to use a SM420 and the stock dana18. Is there a strength issue with the early dana 44's, looked to have flat top knuckles on both sides? What about the u-joints, are they the same as the late 70's 44's?
