I am new to this game and don't have enough knowledge to figure this out. The crossmember just in front of the rear axle appears to be flush against the frame rail in the back and up off the frame rail in the front. Is this normal or should it appear to be flush all the way around. There are holes in the frame and the crossmember that appear to line up. Am I missing a rivet or bolts? My apologies if this has been discussed in the past but when you don't know what you are looking at its hard to search for the right answers. I am hoping to get the frame out to blasting and coating soon. Thanks... IMG_6170.JPG IMG_6171.JPG IMG_6172.JPG IMG_6173.JPG

That's the way it's supposed to be.

Did you have some pads on that crossmember between it and the body? I think mine had some but they went missing. I have no idea what I should replace them with...
