Looking For An Adaptor

    i want to mount a Ford Toploader transmission to a Buick 225ci with a D18 transfer case does any know of an adaptor for this mod

    I don't know if you've researched this very much yet, but parts are available to do it. I was wisely pointed to Novak's site by the fine folks here. Spend some time there getting your head around what is involved. Their kit may seem pricey at first, but really isn't out of line. If you are good at scrounging junkyards and have the time, you can get the parts together yourself. You will also have to change driveshaft lengths, move crossmember and remodel your floor. I'm close to wrapping up my conversion adventure.

    Which Ford gearbox do you have? Novak Conversions can help with a T18 or NP435

    Check out their research pages as well for build planning....
