The DUI extended version can be installed with the canister pointing anywhere that suits your installation.

I was hoping you weren't going to say that, and there was an easy way that I missed along the line. I looked at the DUI extended version, but the cost pushed me away. Likely this problem will push me towards an electric fan.

    Thanks for the response!

The original Buick 231 vacuum advance cans had the spigot come off the side like this:

Nobody is making one like that anymore, but you can find NOS ones on ebay for varying prices: https://www.ebay.com/itm/196341037503

I think that is what I paid for mine on my 71, but that was in 2014.

Worked on the floor mount for the steering column. Should work well, better than the current plate I have on there.

Baby steps, with everything that is going on...

Front brake line hangers are on.

I decided to add additional front body mounts, just to distribute the weight better.

And onto the speghetti wire rodeo.

Also, waitng on the parts for the full float rear.

Did I ever mention how much I hate wiring?! Well I do.

Did make sure I had a solid ground.

Well, had a major break through today! Was having issues with the park and turn indicator lights, so I started over with the wiring. Layed out each line again and started from scratch, found my issue and then it all fell into place. Still have to get everything routed the way I want them up front, but did get the wires run for the rear. Just waiting on my 2 pin connectors to arrive tomorrow and I can button up the rear, then start on the front and gauges.

Routing for the rear lights. And yes, I am a ground fanatic!
