So I pulled my diff cover off to start investigating my locker situation etc. And look what was in there.

But the clutches are completely worn out, I can hold one tire and turn the other with ease. So I need to know what this is so I can order a clutch pack or rebuild kit or ????

    Thanks.

Lucky you its a Powerloc! Yank it and put new clutches in it and you're good to go for years to come.

I just went through this. I was going to stick a lock right in my dana 30 that I assumed had an open diff. I pulled the cover and Surprise!, Power Lok. So I returned the lock right and ordered and clutch kit from Herm. And so, Power Lok's front and rear...not bad.
