I have a wrangler master/vacuum booster and swinging pedals. I use mid 80s blazer calipers and 77 jeep rotors all the way around. Full float rear differential makes the disk conversion back there the same as the front D30. I use NO RPV or proportioning valve. I can lock up all 4 35" tires at will or panic stop at any speed in full total control at any speed my jeep will go.

This braking system combined with Power steering makes my jeep drive as safe and easy as a late cj5/7 or wrangler.

I had 11 " ford drums in front and jeep 11s in the back .and I could always stop the jeep on crazy rock lines .like almost verticaland drums worked good actually . I think disc would be better on the street. my suspension is really soft and things happen

hopeing to do the other side this weekend and get the proper AN Fittings.....

My friend blew his Dana 30 out recently so we are going to make a clone of my front 44 using another Scout axle. I will post it when I get to it. Right now I am buried in snowplows and broken 1 tons. Lol

Do the math on the Master cylinder.............larger bore equals less pressure at the calipers.............don't forget pedal ratio.........if it's non-powered you need about a 6:1 ratio.

    You bled them (again)... Right?

Also, can you post a picture of the current MC you're using from the floor access view?

Keep in mind Steve those front disc pads have zero time on them.
They will need some miles to wear/seat in to the rotors.
Drive around riding the brake pedal to heat them up.

Steve, are your pads organic or semi-metalic? Organic for non-power applications.

That's how mine was before I bought the Ford Disc/Drum MC. I never got a chance to try it with discs since I ruined it.

I had to cut some of the frame away to make mine (Ford Bronco) fit. Other than that, it works great.
