Have someone blast and pime it, they shouldn't be handled much or lay around long after blasting.

Where are you buying your cup brushes for your grinder, at 30-40 bucks I can see why you don't want to brush yourself. Try Harbor Freight company, not top of the line stuff but ussually around 10 bucks each, I have had good luck with these. Good Luck

Wow, this thread is a "blast" (ha ha) from the past.

For those who read this from the first post, I did find a place locally that sandblasted the frame. Thanks be to God. I'd have hated trying to do it or wire-wheel it myself. :)

    Hippo,

Try contacting your local high school shop teacher/class. Thats who did mine. The school actually has an "industrial business" set up for the kids to learn how to do business and stuff. They take in and do small jobs (some welding, small engine reapair, etc). They sandblasted my frame last summer (summer school) and it costed me a couple of bags of media, two pizzas and a twelver of Mountian Dew (wasn't more than $50 total). Usually they had a shop rate, but I guess they were more hungry than broke...

    Disregard....
