How do the rear body mounts half way up the bed work. I can only find the bolt but not the corresponding nut, Is it captured or somthing?
Also how big is the gap between the body and the frame if you look at it from the a rear?
    Thanks

Do you mean the ones where the frame starts to turn upward?

the nut should be captured inside the body channel.

Don't know about the nut, but is there a side view pic to that frame drawing?

The '74 I'm working on didn't have any mounts there. It doesn't make any sense to me, either. There are no holes in the rear floor to accomidate a bolt passing through...
