Hot start/ eng flooded update from your help

Just thought I would get back to everyone that helped with my hot start engine flooded problem results. V6 225 with Motorcraft 2100 2 bbl fit with aluminum carb adapter was having intermitten problem with hot starts. Acted as if flooded. I lowered float level and installed a 1/4 inch thick gasket both between intake and adapter and between adapter and carb to insulate from heat. Seems at my altitude 9600 feet plus you all told me gas boils/vaporizes easier. You must have been correct for after a month with mods, it has not expereinced any hot start problems.
