    "Makes it harder for a shop to charge you for blinker fluid and muffler bearings."

    My guy recommends the synthetic….
    My question is, do I really need to change it to winter-weight each fall?

    One thing (possibly important) I left out that might affect cost. Bearings & Seals work. Would this possibly be the $breaker?

    If you didn't take it from shop that gave you the 1400 price . your still paying too much even with bearing and seals on all 4 wheels
