What is the trick (if any) to removing the distributor from the F134 motor. It seems to be stuck and I dont know how it rides on the cam shaft. I have loosened the bolt that holds it in place.
I cannot get the timing right, possibly the distributor gear is off one notch. any suggestions?
    Thanks

Just work with it. The trick will be getting the oil pump re-engaged on reinstallation.

For the 134 the gear is on the oil pump, the end of the distributor has an offset tab, you can't put it in wrong. However the oil pump can be put in a tooth off (or more). It's probably just stuck so keep working with it.

    Which bolt did you remove?

There are 2 to choose from......only one being right
