Hey guys... it's been a couple of months since my last post... only because I've been busy working on my jeep. Had to upload some photos to show you what I've done.

Paint job was first. Hot Rod Flatz sprayed in my home made garage booth.
Re-did the entire interior, new Rugged Ridge seats, recovered the dash in simulated Emu marine vinyl, and had to weld up a radio hack job in the dash with an old Harley fender I had laying around and painted it to match.. can you tell? I also installed a Davis Unified Ignition with new wires and dropped the original Motorola alternator in favor of a 12si alternator. To help a little with the ride I tossed the very old SkyJacker shocks for a new set of SuperLifts all around. Lastly, got my cb antenna installed and put a new spare tire and cover on the back. Oh, and put a screw-on bronze Harley suicide shift knob on too.

Having alot of fun with it, and glad to have it back on the road again.

    Cheers!

    -Troy

Nice jeep. Looks a lot like the '73 I just bought from a Vtnm vet last week. Putting new rear drum brakes in it..that is all I've had to do...

Cool, another 73 around... congrats on your purchase!

My brakes seem okay. My parking brake cables are destroyed and need replacement. Already have the new cables too, just can't get the dang drums off.

Yep, mine was a super jeep. It had a white dash, white sun visors, and red/white two-tone seats. The original color was turquoise and it had those red, white, and blue stars and stripes decals on it.

HEY!! Another SuperJeep owner here. I keyed right in on the bumper and dash pad. I decided proper restoration to SJ trim was out of my league so mine will be the way I want it. A satin OD green, the old muddy color.
