Loud Exhaust Unwanted.

So my dauntless has headers,that go directly to little thrush style mufflers. That's it. It's loud. What is out there that is small like those but will quiet down my exhaust. They are about a foot long and that's about all the room till I hit tire.

 

solution is move exhaust to rear , V6's get louder because of no back pressure on mufflers

 

Move them a tad inboard and then run exhaust pipes from there to the corners in the back.

And maybe a pair of Hush-Thrush mufflers.

 

I run a single Dynomax with a 2 1/2 inch pipe out the back. It's quiet. I imagine two of em would be quiet as well.

 

I have manifolds, turbo tubes and piped out the rear corners, it's great. I started with glass packs and straight out the back, it was stupid loud and all the exaust sucked right back in and gave me a headache.
