I have a complete set of knuckle castings with caps, studs, etc. These came from a D25 on a wagon (according to the fellow member here that I bought them from). I am going to use these for a tie-rod 'flip' on my 2A.

Question 1.: is the camber on these the same as the same as the camber on the knuckles on my 1947 CJ?

Question 2.: These is a '2' stamped on the inner surface (small end) of both castings - what does it signify?

Question 3.: I have three shims for each king pin cap. Will I need more shims? I know I will need new bearings, but the inner bearing surface om the caps looks clean so I think I can reuse these parts.

i would think camber would be the same for all axles, close to zero or just a touch +.

There were dozens of different knuckles that are pretty much all interchangeable. Dana 25, 27 and 44 all used the same spec for knuckles. The factory service manual for setting preload on the trunnion bearings is pretty straightforward and easy to follow.

Thanks all. As soon as I get back from vacation, I'll get busy on this.

Yep. My experience is they all interchange with no fuss what-so-ever.
