Hood To Windshield Safety Catch

    Ok guys. The long "finger release" to the top of the windshield...? seen the catch mounted both ways but which is the original way from the factory. Here is a pic of mine.

    I was just looking at another thread now (what bikini top to use) and saw that the safety catch had the finger in the upward position. I'm confused...

    Flipped the safety latch so the finger is in the downward position. It engages automatically when you raise the hood to the windshield. Thanks for helping me out :)
