    Is $100 a fair deal ???
I managed to drag up a rough, cracked and welded and 71 frame, d44 flanged axle and grenaded d27 with 4.88s and v6 steering box this weekend. It's been out in the weather for the last 3 decades.

Cleaned up and re-sealed the rear and swapped it yesterday while I do a full float the tapered one I pulled out.

Rear axle is worth more than you paid for the whole thing.

Yeah, I don't want to tell you how much I spent for a flanged D44 to put under the rear of my Commando after it decided to break up.
    You got a good deal.

The dash panel would probably bring that much on Ebay as long as you put "Rare" or "Hard to find " in the item description, My problem is I would probably want to restore it I hate to scrap anything ! T.J.

Jeep parts are sometimes like buying things at an auction. You have to buy the whole lot of elementary school desks and chairs to get the one little thing that they threw onto the pile that you really want.

...But that "haystack" is the reason you got the "needle" so cheap. Good score.

I easily get $500 for the rear axle alone. I buy whole Jeeps just to get those axles. FYI that axle is probably better then any full float kit unless you are doing the FF kit just to have locking hubs for flat towing.

Yes, the FF will be for flat towing reasons. It's a 100 + miles in any direction for me to get it out and play. And the wife likes to drive the JKUR so we tow it and we both get to drive .

I paid $140 for a 30 spline Flanged D44 Housing, cover and axle shafts local. By the time I was done with the thing including the E-Locker I was into it for $2400.00 (11" drums)
