I wish Walck's had that upholstery when I did my seats. I had mine done at an upholstery shop in the red/grey combo.

Finding some body that actually knows how to that sort of work can be a challenge A friend had his Jeep seats redone by his 80 year old Mother in law. They were perfect.

Has anyone used the Walcks upholstery yet? I'm ready to redo my seats and I'm trying to decide what to do. I initially wanted to go with black seats, but the president red is starting to appeal to me.

Does anyone have a source for black covers?

Also - can anyone point me to a thread on directions to recover the seats. The ones to Boyink's work are not working anymore.

Had a local car upholstery shop do mine . 250 a seat . foam was splitting . but they look like stock . 1st time was in oxnard , california . they did them for 100 a seat but that was around 1984 . I like the kit posted above . but you'll have to do it yourself or pay someone

Depending on the colour and/or part of the seat it would have been "basket weave" or cow grain. SMS has both available. On Tonk the sides are cowgrain & the front/back/seats are basket.

Note that they do have a minimum order on the basket weave, You'' end up with about twice as much as you actually need, you can always sell the surplus.
