Here is a tough one for you Dauntless experts. I need to acquire a front driveshaft slip yoke seal and "dust cap". The one for the rear driveshaft is obtainable, but the front one is proving to be unobtainium. Does anyone have a part number or source for this part? The seal and dust cap pieces are depicted in the diagram. 9.110-2 is the seal and 9.110-1 is the dust cap. image.jpeg

Not sure if they are available new or not. I'd try a local driveshaft, light truck suspension shop. Many years ago, the local Mack truck service center located one for me but told me, then, that they were hard to find.
I started a conversation with you ( PM sent).

I found the part. Border Parts (619) 461-0171. No part number supplied. They have the dust cap and the cork seal.

Of course Jon at Border Parts would have it. And you don't need to give him a part number. He has them all memorized. Once I walked in there, set a gear on the counter. He looked at it, didn't even need to pick it up. Recited the part number and application of what range of years on what vehicles. Says I got one and disappears into the labyrinth of his warehouse. Parts piled everywhere, no row numbers, no shelf numbers, no bin numbers, he remembers where everything is. Encyclopedic knowledge of drive train parts for Jeep, Bronco, Blazer, etc. He is a local legend and I hope he's around for years to come.
