Is there a drwg, schematic or diagram detailing the size and number holes required for an early cj5? I have bought a fiberglass tub and would like to have a precise and accurate way to install the holes for the tub.

I thought i saw something on CJ3b technical pages but I'm not sure of the accuracy for the later jeeps.

    Thanks

    Rich

Howard has or had a dwg showing the firewall hole layout. He may post it. If not I will look to see if I kept a copy.

For mounting the tub your best bet is to plop it on the chassis & start drilling. I'm not aware of any diagrams detailing locations of pedal/steering/etc. hole locations; from some of the horror stories floating around about aftermarket tubs I doubt that information has ever been publicly released.

    Here is what I did
Mount the radiator/grill mounting bolt rubber guy
put the body on the frame on 4 x 4 blocks
loosely attach the fenders to the body and grill
measure everything to make it square
Pull the block in exchange for the mounting pads
start making fasteners tighter until it makes up properly
set your hood next to check your alignment work
drill your mounting holes from the bottom replace the drill bit with a bolt
