Pretty much done for now I guess!!!!! My 66

Well I thought it was about time to post a few pics of my 66.
I've had it now for 2 years ,purchased it from the second owner who was friends with the first owner.
Build date is November 65 and was sold in May of 66 at McKnight Motors in Chambersburg,PA.
I done a lot of little things to it. Plow was removed,rear PTO removed.All new brakes,shocks,frame painted,new Walck's wiring kit,new dash,tons of detailing etc.... Over the last 2 years I've managed to acquire 13 of the rare turbine hubcaps and restore.Love the look.Purchased the NOS Whitco from a fellow member(Thanks Doug) in April and was finally installed by a pro.I will be doing a Waldrons exhaust (aluminum)in the spring.Engine will be getting some TLC as well.I just applied for collector status and except for some nice fall/winter sunny days will be tucking her away til spring.I have a mint '81 Wagoneer base that I'm currently doing.Thanks for looking .

Yes ,repainted once about 18 years ago.Previous owner only drove it 300 miles in the 18yrs he had it.
both owners never drove it in snow.I imagine the repaint was pretty much cause of fade.

I had another one before this one and sold it ,wasn't quite as good.I sold it before I bought this one,sorry . I do have a really nice set of white whitco doors ,good plastic that i might part with thou .

Definitely a nice find!

Is it still in the Chambersburg area? If so, that's really neat to think it has lived its entire life there and makes it even more of a find considering the salt in that area during the winter months.

I imported it in to British Columbia ,Canada I had it shipped up in a enclosed trailer Nov 2013.

I have that same top on my 5 and wish I had another one for the 3B. Much better in every respect than a Tiger Top-excepting availability.
