I still don't get where the confusion comes from. It's not rocket science.....

On most rigs, unlocking the front hubs, means nothing in the front drivetrain is turning, other than the wheel bearings. And you can't disengage the axles from the differential on most vehicles rear end. You want as little stuff as possible turning, in the drivetrain, while you're towing it, ideally. Do whatever you need to to make that happen. Disconnecting the rear driveline is the most efficient way to get that done.

It's four bolts. It takes next to no time to do. If you haven't sunk the money into a full floater kit with hubs on the rear, why risk it?

The question was answered and makes sense. Now we're discussing the sticker verbiage. I get it... I was just trying to dumb down the sticker (which looks great BTW).

How can you possibly own a Jeep and not have a car trailer? Next I suppose you'll say you don't have a welder or a plasma cutter...

I currently have 4 Jeeps and no car trailer...Is that because all my Jeeps run and drive?

No overdrive for now so 45 mph would take too much time to get to Colorado plus not sure I would enjoy a 6 to 12 hour drive in it. Just saying......

I've owned Jeeps since 1982, & I've never owned a welder or plasma cutter.

The only negatives I can see with a FF kit are price, it can get costly, and the additional width stickout. Depending on the wheels/tires and hub choice, you may have something out past the tire. This can cause issues with wheeling, depending on terrain.

On the sticker you need to mention "If installed" on the front hubs locking. I don't have locking hubs on mine.
Which also negates the ' disconnect the rear drive shaft ' because the front one is always turning.

or maybe do up two stickers, one for with locking hubs, and one for without locking hubs.

What kind of speeds are we talking about towing here? 65-70? Do you bunge the steering wheel? I'm thinking lower the windshield too.

I attached a yoke to a sleave and I drop the rear shaft every time ....I hook up the driveshaft to the yoke that spins sou I can pick one front hub to drive the rig to a good spot to reconnect....

I towed my Jeep on a tow dolly, front hubs unlocked, rear drive shaft disconnected. It is so easy to do, you can do it without jacking the jeep up. The rear shaft is bolted to the TC, just duct tape the caps, hang the shaft with a ratchet binder going frame to frame, and throw the U- Bolts in the tool box, you are ready to go.

    Huh? you don't have any Joint-Jackets? http://fmfab.biz/shop/joint-jacket/

I'd thought about a free-spinning yoke but haven't gotten to it. Great idea.

I wrap mine in a plastic sandwich bag and strap the driveline to the frame.
