The jeep- frankenjeep barn find with f134 t90/d18.

    The noise-
-it's coming from around the engine.
    -only when accelerating
    -only when in gear
-sounds like a chattering or rattle that is directly in time with the rpms of the engine

I know the throw out bearing (and whole clutch I guess) needs replacing... I'm guessing this is related.

    Any ideas?

Most of that description rules out throwout bearing in particular. Does the engine run good? Good oil pressure? Something sound loose?

Bad engine mount, and/or exhaust hitting something?

    Engine runs good, good pressure..

I know a mount needs replacing.. Didn't think of that..

Would that be a difference if it was our was not in gear?

When in gear is it at all rpm ranges? Have you checked the bellhousing bolts? Maybe something loose there causing clutch chatter? No load on the flywheel in neutral but chatters under load?
Just throwing out a couple of ideas.

Edit) Did it start as a squeak? U-joints?

Bad clutch, bad motor mount. Little to no torque on drivetrain while idling. Torque on drivetrain under load. Yeah, something might rattle.

Kinda a ringing noise? could be the fan blades ticking agains the shroud. Or something the fan belt is rubbing against.

After re-reading the first post, I would say replacing the motormounts is a must. Your motor is shifting under load and allowing the fan to contact the shroud or some other close part.
