75 CJ-5 Badge Placement

I posted this in the restoration forum but got no response...figured I'd try here. Does anyone know what badges came on a 75 CJ-5, V8 and where they go. Pics would be great if you have them. Thanks.

 

I have a 75 and do not recall any badgeing at all. I'll try to remember to check when I get back from hunting tonight

 

There should be a CJ-5 badge on the cowl. I can't give you a measurement because mine's not a CJ-5, and they just left the badge off on a CJ-6. There is also a small rectangular AMC badge on the tailgate or back panel (apparently each is different!)

Jeep calls this "ornamentation" and they show a couple other badges for '74-5 that I did not know existed. Tonight I should be able to get a scan of the page that you can look at.

Mine had a CJ-5 badge on both sides just underneath the embossed JEEP on the body centered, and the AMC symbol on the tailgate on the bottom corner of the drivers side. Hope this helps. Mine is a '74.

 

My 75 has the cj5 badge under the front pass. parking light.

 

I've seen a lot of these Jeeps. I've never seen a '74 or '75 with V8 badges from the factory. I've never seen an AMC badge below the driver's door opening.

The CJ-5 badge on the grille is common. The badge on a tailgate is a very small R-W-B logo rectangle, and the badge on a solid back panel is the same as used on the tailgate of some Wagoneers and Cherokees.

 

I only see one badge on mine. A CJ5 badge on the passenger side under the turn signal..in front. Nothing else.. Mine never had anything else.. I am the second owner..
