My Jeep had a dryer hose on it when I bought it.

Looks like $38.80 at Walcks is s pretty good price for that hose. That's about $15/ft for the exact diameter and length hose. Google the MTS PN CJABFAH-2 and you will find it many places like eBay (usually the cheapest) and the other jeep retailers for about $80. You can find generic 4" or 5" high-temperature duct hose at McMaster-Carr for about $7-8/foot and you'll need to buy 3', it won't fit exactly, and you still pay shipping.

Also realize that a 4" duct hose, compared to the needed 4.5", has a much smaller cross-section than would be suggested by that change, ca 27%.

JMO - I'd suck it up and buy the part that's specific to the application.

I ordered the one from Walck's Too big. That's the only size they stock.
I ended up duct taping the old one they sprayed it flat black.
    Look's pretty good

I have a dryer hose, it was there when I bought the Jeep and I replaced it last fall with the same since it was falling apart. I don't like it, it doesn't fit all that well and I use duck tape to seal it to the heater box. Make the whole thing difficult to remove when working on the Jeep and I will order one from Walck's on my next order (That will hurt due to our Exchange rate (~ 45$ CND + Shipping and duty))
