oil pressure sending unit socket size

    Hey guys,
    I have tried a few,nothing seems to fit .It feels/looks like it would be a 15/16ths.
    Little buggers in there good.

    I am going to guess that you are talking about one of the V-6 engines, because the F-head 134 uses a mechanical gauge.

    I used the closed end of a 1" box wrench, it fit but barely. You have to hold it on with some pressure. They are not meant to be super tight. A pair of channel locks will work to

    There is a special sending unit socket - search for KD 2569. Fits 1" or 1 1/16" switches. New supplier is GearWrench it seems (another Danaher company).
