225 vs 231 motor mounts

    I don't know if they will interchange but if you look up rock auto for 1978 chevy monza with 231 there are motor mounts that start at 1.81 each. I took chance and bought some at that price.

    All the same. I've bought some of those cheap Rock Auto mounts. Can't really comment on their longevity as they're only holding my engine in the frame at the moment but I've got a whole 1/2 hour of run time on the engine and they're still in one piece ;).

    Thank you for the affirmation that they are indeed the same. I am presently using the original 1965 buick ones that came with my engine when it was a core. This brand is "pioneer" the expensive ones are "sealed Power" and are 5 bucks.

    I have had good luck with the closeouts that they offer.
