I have been researching a new rockcrawling class that has a rule of ( you must use stock axles front and rear), Does anyone build stronger axles for the stock Dana27? There are 2 tire classes, 33 and 35, is the 27 strong enough for the 33's with a locker. Thanks...

I am sure any of the custom axle companies like currie or summers brothers would make some but bot off the shelf.. and they would be $$$$

I like your set-up Jeepenstein, looks like you have a lot of time in it. I see you are from Tn., do you wheel at Tellico much? I am from Ga., we go about 4 times a year. I have been looking at a stock rock crawling class that is starting in Pa. and trying to decide what to do. I really like the rules because I can build my 66 Tux and be legal for the class and also have a good trail vehicle. They are making it into a budget class that your driving skills are going to go a long way. I think I will call a few axle companies to see what it will cost. Thanks ....

I have not done tellico yet.. been to windrock though.. the group here does two trips a year to either tellico or windrock so search the forum and you will find the threads on that trip.. I will definately participate in more of the rides when I get my rig done though.. I am only 3 hours from windrock and 4 from tellico (motorhome speed..)
