    Hello Everyone,

New to the site and Willy's in general. Currently working on a 1950 Jeepster with a F134 engine (has the valve cover).
The wires were all cut when I got it and I have no idea what the engine came out of (it has a remanufactured tag on it).
Anyway, I found the wire to the temperature gauge, but can not locate the sensor anywhere on the engine. Does anyone
have a picture of the location?

    Thanks,
    Jim

    Hi -

A '50 Jeepster (the VJ) isn't the same as the Jeepster Commando, which this forum targets.

There is a lot of experience with the F134 in the "early CJ-5" forum.

Thread moved to a (more) proper forum.

The temp senso on a F4 is on the side of the head near the back passenger side, there's anothere port above it on the top of the head for a heater hose.

They have the heater hose running to the side. Top is plugged. Can I just use the top?
What is the correct unit to get?

    Thanks for the help!!
