VIN help CJ-6

    I bought a 1967 CJ-6 from my mom, who in turn bought it at an auction. I have tried finding out more about it, but the VIN number doesn't seem to be helping me from what I have found online for decoding early Jeep VINs. Hopefully you all can help. VIN reads as such. 8405 32137. Thanks in advance.

    Clean looking '67, looks like some body work done to it, rear seam for the body extension has been filled in. Would loose that show bar someone stole out of a pickup though. Have seen those come apart at the joints in a roll over. Do nothing for safety, if anything they add to the danger from pieces breaking off.

    Built October 1966 (1967 model year). That's about all you're going to get from the VIN.
