   It was the weirdest thing. I took off the D-18 cover plate (for O.D.) and no nut. Had a buddy and his jeep traveling with me and would you believe he was carrying an extra nut in his tool box! Plus the correct socket. I was back on the trail in a matter of minutes. Drove home with no ill effects and removed the bottom pan to retrieve my original nut. All was good.
