Are Different Water Pump Fins OK?

    The curved type are probably uni-directional, but I'd guess with straight fins you could run either CW or CCW rotation. Should be fine.

    Curved are also more effective, most centrifugal pumps are curved to help control cavitation but at the RPM's that you run, no problem.

    Don't sweat the fin design change. It falls under a category I often see with replacement parts - "There's nothing wrong with the original design, but now we make it like this.":rofl:
