!966 cj6..

    I am considering a 1966 CJ6 that appears to be in decent shape. Has F134 engine, OD, rear FF, etc. Price seems right.

    Any thing in particular I should know going in? I am familiar with flat fenders, not so familiar with CJ5/6 Jeeps.

    This would be the basis for a build (not restoration) and I would put my 225 Dauntless in it with a T18 do some suspension work, etc.

    If you can get a cj6 in good shape go for it. They are less common and get lots of comments.
    mine has the oddfire.
    runs fine, but also has 10 years of projects in it, body, suspension, electrical, interior, motor...

    I can't think of any major difference that could be an issue one needs to be aware of. More room in the front a CJ5/CJ6 of course. :)
