Unless you're planning on being in nothing but nasty mud I'd bet those will be a really good choice. I like them! :)

The only issue I can see is that they're a 10 ply tire (load range E).
I'd be worried about making an already rough riding vehicle even worse...

I had to go to 10 ply/ E tires on my 2A to get the size and tire I wanted, and worried about stiffness. Turns out that they're fine @ ~25PSI. They're no stiffer than the springs..;)

Thanks for your responses. I have decided to go with these tires. I worried a bit about the stiffness of a 10- ply LR 'E' tire on such a light vehicle, and would liked to have found something in 6 play or 8 ply. The issue is 16" LT tires are mainly designed for trucks. But the truth is that I have had more tires fail from cut sidewalls than any other cause. I will be running these almost exclusively off-road and need something that's very tough. I checked with my vendor and they gave me a green light to mount them on 16 X 6 wheels.

I have been running TSLs on my 2A for years and no problems, but I want to go with an original type 16" rim and an aggressive 31" - 32" tire.

This is the current state of my rebuild. The Jeep is wearing 29X9.5X15 TSLs…and, yeah, I HATE those cheap looking white wagon wheels...
