I have a 62 CJ5 and purchased a brake kit. It came with straight hose fitting wheel cylinders for the front. My original ones are the 60 degree hose fitting cylinders. So of course Im waiting to hear back from the manufacturer, but was this a transition year? Seems like most angled cylinders are for 63 and up.

Also, the 2 sides are different, correct? Why does Omix only offer 1 sided cylinder?

    Thanks as always.

The transition from "S" type brake tubs to the angled wheel cylinders was early 1959.
That brake tube / hose change effected all CJ models.
The early type tube and later type hose brackets were changed on the frames.
