Long story short my drive shaft got fully compressed and I can't extend it back to the size it needs to be to fit in the jeep. Basically I wanted to know if anybody had any ideas or knows how to extend pesky drive lines that got stuck.

good one.. I'd say something is seriously jacked with your splines.. or maybe just crud in them where they have not been engaged before.. Hmm.. yeah I'd say a good anchor point, like tree, and a towstrap and copious amounts of throttle? Safe? No.. Fun? Why hell yeah..

Probably just jammed in the crud build up. My first tought would be the comealong. A bit of heat may help.

If it has that little vent hole in the yoke, maybe apply some air pressure there?

I had a similar issue. I took my driveshaft to a driveline shop as mine was slightly bent. they were able to straighten it. That would be a last resort though. Try getting it apart yourself first.
