t14a transmission oil slinger

    Gentlemen, trying to reassemble a borg warner t14a transmission. Does anyone know the correct orientation of the oil slinger that rides on the main drive gear between the gear and the front bearing? The oil slinger has a raised face. Couldn't remember if the raised side faces the front or rear of the tranny.

    The raised outside rim faces to the rear.
    If you put it facing to the front, it will rub the outer race of the front bearing making a horrible squealing noise. DAMHIK.
