I have a 1960 cj5 and it is all stock. Floors have been replaced. Frame is good and so is the tub. I just put all new brake lines and wheel cylinders and a master in it. And whole exhaust. It starts right up and it's completely driveable. The headlights are not wired up and there is no switch or tail lights. Both seats are in it but they are torn up. Any idea of a ballpark value of this thing? I live in nh.

    Hi - welcome from Boston.

1st, you're in the wrong forum. This forum is for 1972 and later Jeeps. You want the "Early CJ-5" forum.

Next, in that forum, there is a sticky thread entitled "Want to know the value of your Jeep" http://www.earlycj5.net/forums/showthread.php?20325-Want-to-know-the-value-of-your-Jeep that addresses this topic.

Whereabouts in NH? Old cars that aren't collectable aren't worth much in the NE, generally.

Welcome from NH - I'm west of Concord, whereabouts are you located?

I think the value of an older Jeep in the salt-belt will depend on how rust-free it is. From under $1K to $5K maybe, but at the upper range it has to be museum-quality.

Check the local classifieds and Craigslist.
