I just notice as Im moving stufff around and getting ready to put the final touches on the motor and trans, that the rear driveshaft isn't there. So theres more money. but that raises the question about drive shaft fit. The transfer case has a T 150 3 speed transmission That was swapped out with the stock one dueing the rebuild. So I ask will a stock drive shaft work with the new tranny or will I have to have new one made'?

You need to give more info about year/model/equipment.

The T-150 only works with a Dana 20 transfer case, which has a centered rear output. If you have an offset rear axle, that won't work regardless of new driveshaft or not.

Looking back in your posts, I see you have a 66 cj5 w.225v6. If this jeep was running and driving when you bought it then it has a special bell to tranny adapter to fit the T150. You didn't say if you have the front shaft. As Tim sez the T-150 will bolt to the D-18 case but the output gear set-up will not work and will need the D-20 xfer case which needs the centered diff on the rear. If you have the rear off-set D-44, then the drive shaft will be at a severe angle for the u-joints. Need more info on what you have and did you ever drive this jeep?

No Ive never driving the jeep. The tranny, and transfer case were out and had been rebuilt along with the warn overdrive which were all together, but not in the jeep. I was reading something about the t 150 not working on an earlier jeep, but didn't understand exactly what the implications were. Im going to go check out the underside of jeep and see whats up, and I get back to ya guys.

The T-150 has a seal between the transfer case and the transmission, keeping the two from sharing oil. The output gear for the T-150 has a sealing surface for that seal, and will only work with a Dana 20. The Dana 18 transfer cases use a different output gear.

You may be able to install the Dana 18 output gear on the T-150, but the seal will not work. That may or may not be ok. You cannot use the Dana 20 output gear 18-8-55 for the T-150 with the Dana 18 transfer case, because the gears will not mesh properly. Look here - http://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledge/transfer_case_gears_grid.htm

Your right the bell-housing won't bolt up. only two holes line up. Both my diff are off-set. What a set back. I've been frantically trying to get it running since the motor in my truck through a rod throu the block two weeks ago. Now im face with a big money idem that I have to buy. I guess I can try and sell the T 150 or trade it for a tranny that'll work in the jeep. Well I want to thank you guys for the advice and education. I should of researched it more, and not believed the guy I bought it from. He said this tranny was the heavy duty one.

If you want it to bolt together, you need one of the transmissions that came with that engine, ie the Borg-Warner T-86 or Borg-Warner T-14.

Does the T-150 have the adapter that goes to the GM BOP? A pic would help.
