I recently had my 1967 CJ5 frame sandblasted and I noticed numbers on sections of the frame. This is probably a newbie question, but does anyone know if they can be traced or if they mean anything at all?

I'm pretty sure those are Kaiser's part numbers for the individual components that make up the frame. Notice the "L" which denotes the left side components.
It sure is nice to start a build with a chassis blasted clean like that!

The VIN is somewhere on the passenger side on top of the frame, forward of the firewall. It is often very lightly stamped. Other than that Im clueless.
