So it's finally running thanks to some helpers here. Brakes are inoperative and have recieved a new master and rubber flex lines which is almost done.

Supposed to get cold here quick so I've opted not to use the original pump and have fabbed up a mount etc. for a M8000 winch. Not only can it operate the plow but get me out of a jam....question...front plate for rollers assembly is 3/8...do you think it needs bracing?

Yes - brace it - that will fold like a paper plate if its got a full torque load on it.

Well, I gotta say this Jeep is way better at plowing snow than I expected. We just got about 16" and the first half was really wet. The ole Jeep handled it no problem.

I was kinda worried that the plow would be to heavy but it's a significant advantage to have all of that weight up front when trying to back out of the pile.

I still need a new exhaust system as I have about 3' of tube and the wipers need some attention as well, but she runs perfectly.

The half cab gives you awesome visibility as there is a window in all directions....love that thing almost as much as the heater.

Not as user friendly as a good ol Ramsey but I'm looking for one for my m38 project and I think they look way more military. :patriot:
