    I think maybe Daryl was referring to removing the w/s totally and leaving it at home. Something I would never do... no reason to.

    But totally ditto about hitting trees on the trail. It's scary how a the slightest degree of unexpected camber can suddenly hang the top corner on a tree trunk. Instant heart attack!
