    Good Morning-
I am putting my 60 CJ5 back together now. While I have the body off, I want to install the Braden winch that I purchased for it. It is a front mount winch that sits in behind the bumper complete with the drive shaft and dual output pto. The drive shaft for it has a carrier bearing roughly 18 inches back from where the shaft fastens to the input shaft for the winch. I know that there was some sort of bracket that the carrier bearing bolted to, but I do not have it. Does anyone have any pics of this bracket?
    Thank you,
    Tom

I use a bearing in a self-aligning mounting flange, with a simple flat steel extension that will fit to the closest bell-housing bolt.

There's a couple of different styles I've seen. The military instals had a sleeve bearing that bolted to a boss on the bell housing, here's a pic form the rtecent "do you see the gold" posting-

I made up one out of a steady bearing siliconed into a pipe coupling with a tab welded on to hang it off a bellhousing bolt-
