M.O.R.E Offroad sells these offset axle relocation plates that allow you to move your axle forward or back 3/4 or an 1". I tried to post a pic of them but couldn't get it to come up. The problem Im having is, I have a SBC in my jeep and motor was installed 1" to drivers side from center and now when I turn sharp to the left my front tire hits my header tube (on the street, and offroad), turn to the right all if fine. Ive looked at it hard and really think these plates will give me the room I need to eliminate header contact. Has anyone used these or made their own? Did they work well. Thanks for any input.

I can't comment on your clearance issue but I can on the plates. When I did my SOA we used we used locating plates and perches with a 1 inch offset. This moved my axle forward slightly reducing the front drive shaft angle which is alreaddy steep. Steering link adjustment was part of the game.

Do you have wheel spacers already? If not, they might be a cheaper alternative...

I run them ,and I haven't had any problems .mine are MORE also and you can mount them 1/2" or 1" . you also have to drill another hole offset in your spring location that was kinda a pain but doable.they do change you driveline angles a bit because the axle is sitting on the curve of the spring pack .

Edit: I took the ones in the back out and run the axle location pin in the pad of the axle.it's about 1 " offset, I did have to clearance the axle pad a little so the pin would rest happy in the hole
I've have had no problems ,and I test my junk on rocks .

Thanks, I think im going to order them. I do have wheel spacers but the tires still rub, I think these plates will be the fix.

A free and easy option would be to adjust your steering stops.
