Chevy aftermarket gear driven starter solenoids

Anyone running aftermarket gear drive starters on their Chevys, either small or big blocks, this may be useful information. While I only have the CSI and Mcleod versions, I suspect most others will use the same soleniods. The CSI and McLeod starter numbers are 66256 and 810152 respectively.

Replacement solenoids that fit either are:
O'Reilly's Import Direct 18-2015
NAPA Echlin ST205
Carquest Wells 25-1627
McLeod 800172

I ordered the McLeod version from Summit but there is a 2 week wait to get it drop shipped from them, I am sure the same amount of time it takes McLeod to procure one and put their sticker on it. O'Reillys had the Import Direct version in 2 days and it is an exact replacement and USA made.

All of these starters are based on the ones used by Nissan from the mid 70's to mid 80's, specifically 200SX, 84-87; 210, 79-82; B210, 74-78; 280Z,78-83; 300ZX, 84-86; 310, 79-81; and 510, 78-80.
