Need some help with a starter

    I have a 70 CJ5 with a buick 231 and i think is an oddfire and i need a starter. My question is are the starters between a 231 and a 225 interchangeable? Also what vehicle is a oddfire 231 out of?

    The OF 231 came in mid 70's Buicks such as, I think it was the Skyhawk or Skylark. Starter interchangeable? I THINK so. I usually search the NAPA site by application and compare part numbers, to find answers to such questions.

    edit: 1975 Buick Skyhawk 3.7L 231. Compared on NAPAs site w/ 1971 Jeep 225. Some of the starters listed are the same PN for both vehicles, others are different PN's from the same company, such as Remy. The Bosch numbers match and the NAPA pro numbers match. Bosch SR516X and Napa pro NAE 76014.
    This enough to tell me that OF staters should interchange.
