Fender to grille screws

    I have to temporarily assemble the front clip of my 74 cj6 so I can get it titled. The screws that hold the fenders to the grille are missing. Anyone here know the correct size/length screws that fit there?

    1/2 inch head would be a 5/16 sae thread prolly about an inch or so long the factory would have been tapered at the very end or at least kinda piloted

    Yep, 5/16. If your threads are stripped out be sure to put a flat washer and lock washer and nut behind them. It's tight but you can get in there.
