1954 CJ3b hood

    Did some of the 54 cj3b hoods have the "wiilys" on the hood and as well as not have it?? I was told that the plane hoods could have been military. Is this correct??

    Also, this cj3b doesnt have a spare tire carrier. No holes on the fender or tailgate. Was this an option??

    If it was an optional delete, I have never seen it. Makes me suspect that someone either welded the holes up or an aftermarket tub was used. Look for the spare tire bracket hat section brace in the right side wheel well.

    I see you already bought it :)

    Duffer would know about the 3B's more than I do, but like I said, I have seen them both ways with the military missing the Willys and spare mount. Still looks like it was a good buy :D

    And since it's 'not mine' my wife will let it be parked here if you get in too much trouble at home...
