I'm trying to decide what shocks to buy. I have a 58 cj5. I just picked up a set of used Superlift 2.5 inch springs. With the money I saved, I can now afford to buy some pretty nice shocks. What are you guys running? Is it worth the money to go with the monotube shocks (Bilstein, Rancho, the ones Skyjacker sells, etc) or would I be happy with a good quality twin tube shock and spend the extra money on the countless other items my baby needs?
    Thanks
    Jeremy

Rancho 9000 adjustables-other than tearing the knobs off, are probably the best of both worlds unless you are really going hardcore. Can run them stiff for the road to limit body roll and soft for off-road. While not cheap, still a good value.

Always had good luck with the skyjacker hydro's.. Been using them for years with no problems and they seem to last forever.

R9000s here too. It allows me to 'change' how my rig works depending on a whim or need without turning a wrench :)
