I figured nobody else has taken the armrest snap-screws off their Tux to have a good look at them, so here's a photo of how they're supposed to look. Unlike the ones I've seen in Bestop installation guides, these seem to be one-piece contrivances.

They look VERY similar to the ones that I used to mount the canvas bimini on my boat.... I wonder if you could get new ones at westmarine or other marine stores?

My question is why do you think they are Tux specific? Where do you find the arm rests or are you talking about the wheel-well seat cushion?

I believe mine has the standard, phillips head, screw type snap. If the history I was told about the JEEP is accurate ( Dr. bought new, grandson got, I got it) is correct, I have reason to doubt their originality to my '66 Park.

Right, wheel-well "seat" cushions. That's what I meant. Sorry, brain dead moment.
